
Alfred “Rik” F. Dugan, III will serve as the new headmaster at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart beginning July 1.
The Board of Trustees of Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart announced the appointment of Alfred “Rik” F. Dugan, III as the School’s next headmaster.
Mr. Dugan, currently the Director of Upper School at Far Hills Country Day School in Far Hills, will join the Princeton Academy community beginning July 1. He will serve as a successor to Founding Headmaster Olen Kalkus.
Mr. Dugan graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and holds a Masters Degree in Education Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University. Mr. Dugan has served at Far Hills Country Day School since 2007. Prior to working at Far Hills Country Day School, he was a teacher, administrator and coach at Delbarton School in Morristown.
Upon accepting his new position, Mr. Dugan said, “It is an honor to be appointed as Princeton Academy’s second headmaster.
